He graduated with honours in Conference Interpreting (Master) from the Advanced School for Interpreters and Translators (SSLiMIT) in Forlì (active and passive languages: German, French), with a dissertation entitled Some reflections on simultaneous interpreting from French into Italian in medical conferences: an experimental study (supervisor: Ballardini Elio; assistant supervisor: Zorzi Daniela). He is currently working as a freelance conference interpreter and specialized translator, and collaborates with various Italian and foreign translation and interpreting agencies. From the A.Y. 2011/2012 to the A.Y. 2015/2016, he worked as an adjunct professor of French language at the University of Macerata, Department of Humanities, Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistic Mediation Science (L-12) and, in the A.Y. 2015/2016, within the Master’s Degree in Modern Languages for International Communication and Cooperation / EIFI – Études interculturelles franco-italiennes (LM-38). From the A.Y. 2012/2013 to the A.Y. 2015/2016, he also worked as an adjunct professor of German language at the Advanced School for Language Mediators (SSML) in Ancona, and he is currently working as a German, French and English teacher for various training centres and companies. In the A.Y. 2011/2012 and 2012/2013, he also served as a French tutor at the Advanced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators (SSLiMIT) in Forlì. In the A.Y. 2016/2017, he started working as an adjunct professor of German language at the Department of Interpretation and Translation (DIT) in Forlì. He regularly carries out translation and interpreting assignments on behalf of the Courts of Pesaro, Rimini and San Marino in his capacity as a sworn translator and interpreter. He is the co-manager of a cooperative based in Rimini specialized in guided tours, tour leading, translation and interpreting services. From 2011 to 2017, mainly in summer, he worked as a German, French and English community interpreter at the hospitals “Infermi” in Rimini and “Ceccarini” in Riccione. He is a member of AITI (Italian Association of Translators and Interpreters) for the Lombardy region, a member of the non-profit association of translators and interpreters TradInFo, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Heidelberg Alumni Italien (HAIT) network.
