Curriculum vitae

Conference interpreter for Italian, German, French and English, with many years' experience in Italy and abroad, specialising in various fields, among which medicine, law, engineering, automotive industry, politics, economics, finance, environment, pedagogy, tourism and fashion. He serves as a conference interpreter for numerous Italian television and radio stations, as well as many European and extra-European institutions. He has served as a trusted interpreter for various Italian ministers at high-level political and bilateral events, and is an accredited German language interpreter at the institutions of the Holy See.

He graduated with honours in Conference Interpreting (Master's Degree) from the Advanced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators (SSLiMIT) in Forlì, with a dissertation entitled Some reflections upon simultaneous interpreting from French into Italian in medical conferences: an experimental study.

From 2011 to 2017, mainly during the summer period, he worked as a community interpreter for German, French and English at the "Infermi" hospital in Rimini and the "Ceccarini" hospital in Riccione. As a contributor to specialisation courses in Medical Interpreting, he holds modules in which he provides, being specialised in media and institutional communication, some vital tools to improve the speaking skills of learners, as well as their knowledge of deontology, ethics, starting and managing their career as interpreters.

From A.Y. 2011/2012 to A.Y. 2015/2016, he served as a contract lecturer in French at the University of Macerata, Department of Humanities, Degree Course in Disciplines of Language Mediation (L-12) and, in A.Y. 2015/2016, as part of the Degree Course in Modern Languages for Communication and International Cooperation / EIFI – Études interculturelles franco-italiennes (LM-38). From A.Y. 2012/2013 to A.Y. 2015/2016, he lectured in German language at the Advanced School for Language Mediators (SSML) in Ancona, an activity resumed in A.Y. 2020/2021 and still ongoing. In A.Y. 2011/2012 and 2012/2013, he served as a French language tutor at the Advanced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators (SSLiMIT) in Forlì. Since A.Y. 2016/2017, he has been working as a contract lecturer in German at the Department of Interpretation and Translation (DIT) in Forlì.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Heidelberg Alumni International (HAI) network, established to bring together all former students, researchers and collaborators of the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg.
