PhD student in Translation, Interpreting and Intercultural Studies at the University of Bologna since a.y. 2022/2023. 

In 2019 I graduated at L'Orientale - University of Naples with the grade 110/ 110 cum laude presenting a work on the teaching of English as a lingua franca. 

In 2022 I obtained the Master's Degree in Specialised Translation at the University of Bologna with a final grade of 110/110 cum laude. My thesis investigated the possibilities of using the method of round-trip translation for purposes of linguistic revision. 

In June 2022, I won a post-graduate research scholarship at the University of Bologna and took part in the Erasmus + UpSkills project.

My current research focuses on translanguaging and linguistic ethnography. My research interests include sociolinguistics, corpus linguistics, NLP, language teaching, intercultural studies, and translation. I'm also leading a research on BERTScore for subtitles quality evaluation, presented at the AVT Conference in Naples (2023).
