Use of generative AI in coursework

Given the lack of specific guidelines on generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) from the University of Bologna, the lecturer reserves the right to independently assess students’ use of this technology during written examinations and to take the necessary measures to limit or penalise any misuse. Under no circumstances will the use of generative AI for the drafting of written assignments be accepted. Should there be reasonable suspicion that this has occurred, the lecturer may call upon the student to discuss their work orally, and/or the written examination will be marked as a fail.
