Nicolas Turchi is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Bologna, Teaching Fellow at the Polytechnic of Milan and an Architect at Zaha Hadid Architects, in London. Nicolas holds a Master in Architecture II from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Bologna where he received the Best Thesis Award. Before joining ZHA, he worked in several international firms including Eisenman Architects, Xefirotarch - Hernan Diaz Alonso Architects, Mario Cucinella Architects and 5+1AA. Nicolas is particularly interested in emergent technologies and the way they affect the theoretical aspect of the discipline. Nicolas is constantly pairing the work in the practice with a more theoretical research and academic collaborations, participating in international competitions jury, academic panels, and lectures in various institutions including Harvard University, the New York Institute of Technology, and the A&M Texas University.
