My research interests are focused on linguistic development in bilingual children and adolescents, narrative competence, plurilingual education, text linguistics and pragmatics, with a special focus on referential expressions. My doctoral thesis investigated the encoding of definiteness in Italian in the narratives of bilingual (Italian-Chinese/Arabic/Spanish) and monolingual children.
