Associate professor at the University of Bologna since 2019. My main research areas are seismic vulnerability assessment, low-damage seismic design of buildings, seismic behaviour of tanks, structural applications of fibre reinforced concretes.
Education
Degree in Civil Engineering in 2005 at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Bologna. Ph.D. in structural mechanics in 2009.
Academic record
After a few years as post-doc researcher, in 2013 I was appointed Assistant Professor in Structural Engineering at the Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental and Materials Engineering, University of Bologna. In 2017, I obtained the National Scientific Qualification for the position of Associate Professor. Since October 2019, I am Associate Professor of Structural Engineering, at the Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental and Materials Engineering, University of Bologna
Teaching
Since 2013, I have taught graduate and undergraduate courses in Civil Engineering.
