Dissertation topics suggested by the teacher.

There are some thesis projects available in cooperation with companies.

1) Company weighing systems production company that makes and design scales that until now have been considered impossible to achieve. Thesis available:

  • DEVELOPING AN INNOVATIVE LOAD CELL FOR INDUSTRIAL USE: participation in the development of a strain gauge sensor for use in the check weigher. This project intends to disrupt check weigher technologies.
  • DEVELOPMENT OF AN INDUCTION HOB THAT WEIGHS FOOD DIRECTLY ON CERAMIC GLASS:participation at the development of a load cell that is integrated with an induction hob allows us to weigh the ingredients directly on ceramic glass.
  • DATA-SELECTION-BASED MEASUREMENT ALGORITHM: this project involves the development of a self-learning artificial intelligence algorithm that allows the improvement of the digital arithmetic average of the load cell signal.

2) One of the technological leaders worldwide in the design and development of machines for solid-liquid separation, in particular dynamic thickeners and pressure filter. Thesis available:

  • BIG DATA ANALYTICS: to implement a big data analysis platform, supported by the Mindpshere infrastructure, which allows the management of the data itself, and its abstraction towards integrated information of the chemical-physical parameters that characterize the machine and the filtration process.

3) Company which designs and produces X-ray tubes for medical and industrial applications. Thesis available:

  • DEEP ANALYSIS OF SECONDARY ELECTRON EMISSION IN MICROFOCUS X-RAY TUBE
  • ANALYSIS OF THE ELECTRIC FIELD IN A X-RAY TUBE AND THE IMPLICATION ON ITS SHAPE
  • THE DARK CURRENT IN X-RAY TUBES: SCIENTIFIC EXPLANATION AND IMPLICATION ON THE QUALITY OF THE TUBE.

4) Company which produces systems for X-ray mammography and tomosynthesis. Thesis available:

  • SCATTER ANALYSIS AND REMOVAL FROM MAMMOGRAMS IN CESM (Contrast-Enhanced Spectral Mammography).
