Short Bio

Dr Neven Andjelic is Assistant Professor (previously Reader) in International Relations and Human Rights at Regent's University London. He served from 2014 to 2018 on the Advisory Committee on the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities - Council of Europe.

Dr Andjelic was also Visiting Senior Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) 2018-2019 and was previously Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the University of California at Berkeley. His long standing connection with the University of Bologna has resulted in his affiliation with the Faculty of Political Science - Forli Campus as Visiting Professor. He was teaching in the past at Birkbeck College, London and Bader International Studies Centre of the Queen's University (Kingston, Canada). He also taught at the Open University, the University of Sarajevo and Saarland University.

He is often invited by international media to comment on current affairs and especially on developments in the Balkans. In his career Dr Andjelic has worked in media. He worked in the past for CNN, BBC, ITN and Channel 4 in the UK and all the leading media in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
