I am a PhD Candidate in Management at University of Bologna, currently enrolled in my second year. My research focuses on the Emergence, Diffusion and Legitimation of novel technologies and ideas. More specifically, I am interested in what language reveals about the conceptual evolution and social diffusion of novelty, and how innovators and entrepreneurs use language to make sense and legitimize their innovations. To that end, I mainly rely on Natural Language Processing techniques and adopt a quantitative approach.
My interest in entrepreneurship and innovation dates to my Master level studies. I completed my Master Thesis “The matching between crowdfunded projects and investors” and was part of the "Osservatorio Crowdinvesting" research group at Politecnico di Milano. I was co-author of the “Real Estate Crowdfunding Report 2019” and the “Fifth Report on Crowdinvesting in Italy”.
