Curriculum vitae

Professor Nadia Zorzi graduated in law, summa cum laude, at the University of Bologna, Italy, where she currently teaches Private Law (IUS/01) at the School of Economics. She also teaches International contracts law, Consumer law, Internet law and Information technology crimes.

She is member of the editorial office for “Contratto e impresa” law review, where she actively participates in the Organizational Committee with regard to double-blind peer review.

In all these years she has always been participating in national and international academic conferences and meetings. In 2001, she participated in the international conference at the University “Externado” in Bogota' by presenting a report on “Civil Responsibilities of the doctor in Italy”. In 2001 she held a lesson on “Intellectual professionals and societies among professionals” at the Civil Law PHD School of Law of University of Bologna. Always in 2001 she participated in a meeting organized by the University “Carlos III” in Madrid, holding a lesson on “EU directive in the financial market".

During last year's convention organized by Contratto e Impresa for its twenty years, entitled "Financial market and savings protection", she held a lecture in "Types of contracts between the intermediary and the saver" and recently she held a lesson at the European Private Law Master in "La Sapienza University" in Rome concerning "Consumers protection in market abuse"(2017).

She wrote many monographs, essays and articles. Since 2012, when “Maestro” Francesco Galgano passed, she has bene updating and rebooting "Trattato di diritto civile" in more volumes and "Manuale di diritto privato" and "Istituzioni di diritto privato" textbooks.

She is fluent in English and German.
