Education
After professional inhouse training at the Herwig Publishing Company in Ulm and work as a public relations assistant at the Grey-Com International agency in Munich, she graduated from the University of Munich in 1995 with a degree in Communication Science, Psychology and Psycholinguistics. In her university career, she focuses on the field of education in journalism.
Work/teaching experience
Having graduated, she worked until 2001 as a product manager and lecturer at the Academy for Advertising and Marketing in Munich, where she was responsible for training marketing specialists.
In 2004 she resumed her studies at the Goethe Institut in Munich, obtaining the qualification to teach German as a foreign language.
From 2003 to 2004 she lectures German at The European Studies Center in Cesena, Italy, later focusing on individual video and audio training for presentations, exams, interviews, negotiations, trade fairs and business correspondence. She also works with children with dyslexia or functional illiteracy with second language learning difficulties.
In 2009, she founded the Munich-based Newcomers Homebase Germany, in which she holds the position of director. At the same time, she continues to collaborate on intercultural and language projects at kindergartens and middle schools in the Cesena area. In 2011 she undertook a course of study at the Academy of Creative Writing in Hamburg, which she successfully completed in 2014.
