Mirko Viroli

Mirko Viroli is Full Professor in Computer Engineering at the DISI department (Department of Computer Science and Engineering) at University of Bologna (UNIBO), in Italy, where he held institutional responsibility as Director of Organisational Unit (UOS) of the Cesena site of DISI, as Director of Second Cycle Degree in Computer Science and Engineering, and as Vice Dean of the Engineering School for the Cesena site. He is President of the Cesena Campus in 2025-2027. He is an expert in foundations of computer science, advanced software development, and distributed artificial intelligence, and he regularly teaches (or has taught) courses on these subjects. He is in the Editorial Board of IEEE Software Magazine and Editor-in-Chief of MDPI Software,
