Short Bio

Michelle Musolino holds a degree in Classics from Sapienza University of Rome (110/110 cum laude) and a degree in Philology, Literature, and Classical Tradition from the University of Bologna (110/110 cum laude). She is currently a PhD candidate in Didactics of Classical Languages at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich, in a joint doctoral programme with the University of Bologna.

Her research project, entitled ἀλήθεια oder ψεῦδος? Eine Untersuchung über die begrifflichen Wurzeln, die Entwicklung und das moderne Erbe der Propaganda in der antiken Gesellschaft, investigates the dynamics and strategies of propaganda in Athens during the second half of the fifth century BCE, with particular attention to its conceptual foundations, historical development, and modern reception. The project is conducted under the supervision of Prof. Markus Janka and Prof. Camillo Neri.
