Education

Since October 2024, Michelle Musolino has been a PhD candidate in the Didactics of Ancient Languages at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, in a joint supervision with the University of Bologna (2024–2028).

In 2024, she obtained her Master’s degree in Classical Philology, Literature, and Tradition from the University of Bologna, graduating with honors. In 2021, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Classics at Sapienza University of Rome. She also holds a C2-level certification in German (CEFR) from the University of Cologne and a C2-level certification in French from the Institut français in Munich.

Teaching Experience

Between 2023 and 2024, she worked as a university tutor at the University of Bologna, having been awarded a 400-hour tutoring position. In this role, she provided academic support to undergraduate and graduate students preparing for Greek and Latin examinations. In 2024, she taught Italian literature, Latin, and Ancient Greek at a secondary school.

Research Activity

She is the author of a scholarly article on the rhetoric of ships in fifth-century BCE Attic tragedy, currently under peer review.

Conference Participation

Since 2025, she has been actively participating in international conferences and research seminars. She presented a paper at the University of Oxford (July 2025) and will present a scholarly contribution at the University of Sydney in 2026. Between 2025 and 2026, she has also delivered invited talks and research seminars at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
