Micaela Antonucci, Architect, PhD, is Associate Professor in History of Architecture at the University of Bologna, member of the PhD Research Board in Architecture and Design Cultures at the University of Bologna and Coordinator of the Publishing series of the Department of Architecture in Bologna. She is part of the Editorial Borad of "Histories of Postwar Architectures" and "Journal of Creative Practices in Cities and Landscapes". She is curator of two architecture exhibitions on the work of Pier Luigi Nervi in the years 2014-2016 and she had organized several national and international conferences. She has published her studies in Italy and abroad, in books and specialized journals; her main research fields concern with the relationship between form, architecture and construction both in Renaissance age and in contemporary architecture and engineering, with special concern with Antonio da Sangallo the Younger, Otto Wagner and Pier Luigi Nervi.
