EDUCATION

 1997:PhD in History of Federalism and European Unity, University of Pavia. Supervisor: Prof. Luigi Vittorio Majocchi. The thesis has been published in the book L'Europa degli altri. Comunisti italiani e integrazione europea (preface by Antonio Giolitti), Roma, Carocci, 1998

1992: Postgraduate Course in Human Sciences, University of Bologna

1990: Degree in Contemporary History, Faculty of Arts and Philosophy, University of Bologna. The final thesis was awarded with the “Howard Marraro” prize, as well as the “Vittorio Emanuele II” prize, both promoted by the University of Bologna.

 

TEACHING

 2004-2014: Holder of a chair (Jean Monnet program) in History of the European Integration. Contract professor of Principles of Economics, at SSLMIT (Scuola Superiore di Lingue Moderne per Interpreti e Traduttori), Forlì, University of Bologna. Since 1999, Prof. Mauro Maggiorani has worked with the Punto Europa, in Forlì, and in 2004 he became a member of its Scientific Committee.

2003-2004: Contract professor of Principles of Economics, at SSLMIT.

2001-2002: Contract professor of Introduction to European Political Institutions, at Master degree in Governance and Politics of European Integration, University of Bologna and Ministry of Foreign Affairs

1999-2003:

a. Teaching support contracts in History of International Relations, Faculty of Political Sciences, Forlì, University of Bologna (Prof. Giuliana Laschi).

b. Co-examiner of theses in History of Contemporary Europe (Prof. Patrizia Dogliani), History of International Relations (Prof. Giuliana Laschi) and History of European Integration (Prof. Lorenza Sebesta), Faculty of Political Sciences, Forlì, University of Bologna.
