Maurilio Pirone

I am a Junior Researcher in political philosophy at the Department of Arts, University of Bologna.

Since 2023 I have been part of the leading research group of the Horizon Europe project INCA (Increase corporate political responsibility and accountability) and of the COST Action P-WILL (Platform Work Inclusion Living Lab). Previously, I have been a research fellow within the Horizon2020 PLUS (Platform Labor in Urban Spaces) project.

I am a member of SIFP (Italian Society of Political Philosophy), part of the research group Into the Black Box and in the editorial board of Work Organization, Labor and Globalisation Journal.

My research interests include platform capitalism, new forms of metropolitan unionism, the impact of digital technologies on labor discipline and organization, logistics and globalization, and social movements.

I work mainly with qualitative methodologies and have expertise in design techniques and text software analysis.
