Matteo Valoncini

Ph.D .candidate since 2021 in Global Histories, Cultures and Politics (XXXVII cycle) in the Department of History and Cultures at the Alma Mater-University of Bologna.

I am a Medical Anthropologist. I previously conducted research on health inequalities with the Center for Research in International and Intercultural Health in Bologna within an action-research project.

Currently, my Ph.D. research project deals with the digitization of primary healthcare and how these processes shape new ways of understanding bodies, health, and illness.
