  1. Maritime, air, land and multimodal transport: analysis of the impact that the continuous evolution of the socio-economic scenarios of reference has on the transport market and its regulation;

  2. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs): study of the tools available to SMEs, active in the transport and logistics sector, to allow a strengthening of their bargaining power, also through flexible aggregation logics, such as the business network contract;

  3. Logistics: in-depth analysis of the problems that have arisen following the emergence of new operators, such as Third-Party Logistics Providers (3PL), also in light of clients’ needs and the increase in demand for door-to-door transport services;

  4. Ports, airports and, more generally, transport infrastructures: analysis of the management models of these infrastructures and of the main criticalities in the relationships of interaction with operators who carry out their activities and/or provide their services at ports, airports and interports (think of handling or port services);

  5. Regulation of the transport market, competition and state aid: study of the main problems inherent in the exercise of the powers to regulate the transport market by the competent national authorities (such as, for example, ART) and European (think, inter alia, of EMSA, EASA and Eurocontrol); examination of policies aimed at protecting competition and regulating State intervention in the market, also with reference to the introduction of public service obligations;

  6. Transport insurance: examination of the main problems that have arisen in practice, with particular regard to the transport of goods, often in terms of legitimation and identification of the insured interest, regarding the frequent use of certain types of contracts, such as insurance on behalf of whom it may concern;

  7. Transport documents: focus on the implications of the progressive dematerialization of documents (think of the electronic bill of lading);

  8. Mobility: study of some of the critical aspects of the new forms of mobility of passengers and goods;

  9. Pleasure navigation and marinas: analysis of evolutionary trends and their impacts in terms of the legal qualification of units (pleasure craft and hybrid figures, such as Boat & Breakfast) and infrastructures intended for pleasure navigation;

  10. Off-shore platforms: focus on the legal qualification of the platforms used in the off-shore hydrocarbon exploration and exploitation industry, based on their characteristics (fixed, floating, retractable feet, etc.), and on the legal regime applicable to the activities carried out by them;

  11. Drones and unmanned vessels: analysis of the multiple problems that have arisen with the use of UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) and MASS (Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships), from those inherent to the legal qualification of the units, to those relating to the applicable liability regime, to those of an insurance nature.
