Masoud Banan Dallalian

Masoud Banan Dallalian is a PhD candidate at the University of Bologna in the “Future Earth, Climate Change and Societal Challenges” program, focusing on numerical and experimental modeling of wave–structure interactions for wave energy exploitation. He also works as a tutor at the University of Bologna in courses in Marine Renewable Energy.

He holds an M.Sc. in Civil Engineering – Marine Structures. He has several years of professional experience as a coastal engineer and research assistant, contributing to multiple projects and publishing in international scientific journals. His research experience includes numerical modeling of waves, hydrodynamics, and sediment transport, as well as storm surge and coastal flood risk.
