Post-doc researcher at the University of Bologna since November 2020, she carries out her research activity in the field of Semiconductor Polymers. The main research topics concern the development of alcohol/water-soluble thiophene or fluorene-based materials (small-molecules or polymers), starting from the synthesis, full characterization and final application in organic solar cells or biomedical systems.

  • Post-doc at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of Polish Academy of Science (IPPT-PAN) of Warsaw (Poland), in the research group of Prof. F. Pierini (November 2019 – October 2020).
  • PhD in Chemistry (March 2020, University of Bologna).
  • Research stay at KU Leuven University (Leuven, Belgium), in the Laboratory for Polymer Synthesis of Prof. G. Koeckelberghs (February – May 2019).
  • MSc in Industrial Chemistry (March 2016, University of Bologna).
  • Master Internship at ISOF-CNR of Bologna and Department of Industrial Chemistry “Toso Montanari”, University of Bologna (March 2015 – February 2016).
  • BSc in Industrial Chemistry (October 2013, University of Bologna).
  • High school diploma from I.T.I.S. Enrico Fermi in Modena (July 2010).

Tutor activity

Since 2017 she has been carrying out lab tutoring activity for the BCs in Industrial Chemistry (Bologna) and Chemistry and Technology for the Environment and Materials (Faenza), in the field of Polymer Chemistry.
