Martina Ferri

Martina Ferri obtained her Bachelor’s degree (2019) and Master’s degree (2021) in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Bologna. In 2025, she defended her Ph.D. thesis entitled “Developing innovative bioplastic formulations for advanced applications by using biomass-derived additives” at the Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental and Materials Engineering (DICAM, University of Bologna).
She is currently continuing her research projects in the field of biomass valorization for the development of functionalized bioplastics and works as tutor for the course “Polymeric Materials for Design”, within the scientific disciplinary sector ING-IND/22 Materials Science and Technology
