Short Bio

She is currently associate professor at the Department of Agro-Food Sciences and Technologies of the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna in the field of Plant Pathology.

Her research activity is dedicated to the study of the activity of technical means, synthesis and natural origin, against numerous fungal and bacterial agents of many crops. In this context, a particular interest is addressed to the deepening of the mechanisms of resistance of fungal pathogens to the different active ingredient by biological and molecular approaches. Part of his research was also focused on epidemiological studies of important diseases of fruit and vegetable crops. In addition to the research and teaching activities, she has been collaborating to the organization of conferences including the biennial appointment of the Giornate Fitopatologiche, the most important Italian meeting on the control of diseases, insects and weeds of cultivated plants.
