Post-doc researcher at the Laboratory of Animal and Environmental Physiology - Department of Biological, Geological, and Environmental Sciences (BiGeA), Ravenna campus. Gained experience working on the assessment of emerging contaminants in the environment (EDCs, pharmaceuticals, plastic addtives), combining a chemical approach to detect the presence of these substances with a biological methods to assess their effects on human and environmental health.

Currently, focus of her research is the analysis of pharmaceutical residues in the marine environment, with particular attention to the biological effects and mechanisms of action on marine organisms. This work aims to understand the impact of these contaminants in relation to climate change, contributing to the protection of human and environmental health.
