Mariella Lorusso, PhD in “Literatures and Cultures of the English Speaking Countries”, is Associate Professor of English language and translation (Academic Discipline L-LIN/12) at the Department of the Arts - DAR, University of Bologna, Rimini campus. She has taught English since 1999 at the Course of Fashion Cultures and Techniques (BA), and since 2014 at the Course of Fashion Studies - FAST (2nd-cycle Degree), University of Bologna, Rimini campus. She has written various essays and translated texts about fashion, Native American literature and culture.
Her research is focused on fashion decolonization, global fashion, and the language of fashion. She is engaged in national and international research projects and collaborates with various foreign institutions.
