Maria lucia Rocchi graduated in 1992 at the School of Advanced Education OPD, branch of Ravenna (Mosaic Restoration School) with a thesis entitled: "San Vitale: Preliminary studies and analysis on the state of conservation of the marble and stucco of the three-light window north of the presbytery", lives between Lugo di Romagna and Casteldimezzo di Pesaro. In 1996 he founded the Etra Company which deals with archaeological restoration, decorated surfaces of architecture, stone materials, clay works, paintings and preliminary projects for conservative operations. She is the technical director of interventions on public and private heritage. Since 2005 and for some years she has taught Restoration at the "School for the Restoration of the Mosaic" of Ravenna (higher education and branch office of O.P.D.) of the Superintendency for Environmental and Architectural Heritage of Ravenna, Forlì, Ferrara and Rimini. She is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of "Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage of Ravenna" of the University of Bologna. The teaching of restoration laboratory, the study of art assets through the chemical-physical analysis of materials and archival documentation, guide her in the publication of research and in-depth essays concerning the Italian historical and artistic heritage and the history of restoration.
