Maria Pia Victoria Feser

Maria-Pia Victoria-Feser, a Swiss statistician, is a professor at the University of Bologna since November 2023. She has previously been a professor in the Geneva School of Economics and Management, University of Geneva, and was the founding dean of the school.

He research interests concern methods for statistical inference with applications to research fields ranging from social, economics (econometrics) to experimental sciences (biostatistics). In particular, she develops statistical methods in robust statistics, model selection, resampling methods, for high frequency time series, generalized linear model, mixed linear models and generalized latent variable model. Part of her research activities have been financed by public founding bodies such as the Swiss National Science Foundation or the Economic and Social Research Council in the UK.
