Degree in Veterinary Medicine-School of Veterinary Medicine
of Bologna, Italy, in July 2000, obtained in 2005 the Doctorate
Fellowship in Anatomohistopathological Veterinary Disciplines with
a dissertation on "Gastrointestinal tumors in domestic animals".
From 2005 to 2007 obtained fellowship on "Lung diseases of
atmospheric pollution in the dog", focused on lung tumors and its
relations with pollution. From 2007 to 2009: Post-doctorate
fellowship on "The role of immunocytochemical analysis in
veterinary diagnostic oncology". From 2009 to 2011 obtained a
fellowship on " Expression of receptor Tyrosine Kinases in feline
squamous cell carcinoma". Until January 2022 he was
Associate Professor SSDVET/03 (Patologia Generale e Anatomia Patologica
Veterinaria), “Pathology Division” at the Department of Veterinary
Medical Science of the Bologna University. Routine activities are
diagnostic anatomic pathology, cytology and
histopathology. Major research and professional
interest were the diagnostic cytopathology, the small animal
gastrointestinal pathology and the immunohistochemical
characterization of tumors. Publications: Co-author and
author of 70 research products (according to the
