The research interest lie in the synthesis, characterization
and chemical reactivity of metal carbonyl clusters with medium-high
nuclearity. More specifically in: 1) nano-and micro-wire molecular
semiconductors and conductors; 2) salts charge-transfer ( CT) and
electron-transfer (ET) consisting of cluster-anions redox-active
and cations redox-active; 3) new molecular capacitor; 4)
application of metal carbonyl clusters in nanotechnologies and
catalysis; 5) synthesis of metal nanoparticles using clusters as
precursors.
