2012- Graduated in Pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy-University of Bologna

2014- Second Level Professional Master in 'Nutrition and Health Education'

2018- Ph.D. in Pharmacological and Toxicological Sciences, and of the Developmental and Human Movement at the University of Bologna

 

ACADEMIC AND RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

2015/2016, 2017/2018 and 2018/2019- Teaching Tutor in Applied Biochemistry for the School of Pharmacy Biotechnology and Motor Sciences-University of Bologna

2017-now Postdoctoral research Fellowship at the Department for Life Quality Studies-University of Bologna. Ongoing project title: 'Modulation of A2A adenosine receptor as neuroprotective strategy in Parkinson's disease'

The main research interests concern the fields of cellular biochemistry and biochemistry of nutrition. In particular, the research is aimed at describing the mechanisms of nutraceuticals and natural bioactive or synthetic compounds against chronic-degenerative pathologies.
