Research Background and competencies
Eng. Marco Bragadin works as an Assistant Professor and
Researcher of Building Site Organization at the University of
Bologna. He has carried out research in numerous areas of Civil
Engineering and Construction Management and Economics.
Major interest areas are the following:
1. Construction Management. Three current
lines of research:
1.1. Activity Networks and efficiency improvement in
construction projects;
1.2. Project Control KPIs;
1.3. Safety Management.
2. Building Sustainability and Life Cycle Cost
/ Assessment for construction
3. Fire Safety Engineering: Movement of
People/evacuation timing
4. Quality management of building design and
construction processes.Timber roof structures retrofitting.
