Marco Tramontano

Associate Professor of Rehabilitation Sciences at the Department of Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences, University of Bologna. His research addresses postural control, sensorimotor integration, gaze stabilization, gait, vestibular disorders, and personalized vestibular physical therapy. He formerly headed Rehabilitation Services at Fondazione Santa Lucia IRCCS in Rome, coordinating about 200 rehabilitation professionals, and was Educational Director of the BSc Programme in Physiotherapy at the University of Rome Tor Vergata (2009–2023). He has maintained clinical practice as a physiotherapist in neurorehabilitation and vestibular physical therapy and as an osteopath. He currently provides clinical care at IRCCS Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria di Bologna within Occupational Medicine’s Work Ability Recovery and Assessment Service and the Vestibular Rehabilitation Service.
