Bioinformatician Post Doc at the Cancer Genome Instability Lab (Prof. G. Capranico). My doctoral and postdoctoral projects regard how non-B DNA structures (in particular R-loops and G-quadruplexes) affect chromatin organization, genome functions, and genome stability, on one side, and how they are regulated by DNA topoisomerases, on the other, in the context of cancer. During my PhD I specialized in the bioinformatic field, focusing on the analysis of genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic data and their integration to establish molecular and epigenetic mechanisms dependent on non-B DNA structures and their regulation. I have publication-proven experience in the analysis of ChIP-seq, DRIP-seq, END-seq, and other genome-wide mapping strategies datasets and the analysis of RNA-seq data of cell population or large datasets of publicly-available patient-derived samples (e.g. TCGA, Target, EGA).
