Marco Fincardi

MARCO FINCARDI graduated in University of Parma (Pedagogy with a sociological address), then in Bologna (Disciplines Communication and Entertainment). Since 1984 high school teacher. Postgraduate diploma (D.E.A.) "Histoire et civilisation" at the Ecole des hautes études en sciences sociales in Paris. PhD "Crisis and transformation of contemporary society" at the University of Turin. Since 1995 post-doctoral fellow at Ca' Foscari University of Venice. Since 1998 incardinated researcher at Ca' Foscari, then associate professor, then full professor. In 2017 and 2019 he deals with social history in the contemporary age. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of «Memoria e ricerca. Rivista di Storia Contemporanea». Between 2016 and 2019 he was Visiting Professor in Argentine and French universities.

Since February 2023 full professor of Contemporary History at the University of Bologna.
