2002: Degree in Veterinary Medicine (University of Bologna).
2003-2004: Grant research student. Title of research project “Hepatectomy in SPF pigs in sterile environment and using a sterile and appropriate technique”
(Veterinary Clinical Department - University of Bologna).
2004-2005: Collaboration at research project “Realization of a bioreactor using SPF pigs hepatocytes for metabolic support in acute hepatic insufficiency”(Veterinary Clinical Department - University of Bologna).
2006: PhD in “Clinic and veterinary emergency therapy” (Veterinary Clinical Department - Reproduction Unit - University of Bologna).
2006-2008: Post Doctoral fellowship with 3 months of residency in a dolphinarium in Cancun - Mexico . Title of research project “Effect of different
parameters on dolphin (Tursiops Truncatus) sperm preservation” (Veterinary Clinical Department - Reproduction Unit - University of Bologna).

Clinical Activity Clinical activity, performed daily and on call (24H), is: - Clinical, diagnostic and surgical activity in obstetric-gynaecological, andrological and urological field in dog, cat, rabbit and ferret. - Estrous cycle monitoring in bitch and queen - Collection, evaluation and preservation of dog and cat sperm - Artificial insemination in dog and cat - Parturition and newborn assistance in dog and cat.
