Eng. Marco Bruno is a PhD candidate at the Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental and Materials Engineering (DICAM) of the School of Engineering at the University of Bologna. He is a member of some national scientific association of the road sector, like SIIV (Italian Transportation Infrastructure Society) and AIIT (Association for Traffic and Transportation Engineering). His research focuses on road safety, pavement maintenance and rehabilitation techniques, road sustainable materials. He has conducted research, produced publications and presented papers on these topics at national and international conferences.
From 2026 he is a member of PITLab (Performance of Innovative mobility Test Laboratory)
