Marco Antonio Boschetti

Full professor of Operational Research at the Department of Mathematics, University of Bologna. In 1999 he received a PhD in Operational Research at the Management School, Imperial College, London. From 2016 to 2024 he was associate professor of Mathematical Methods of Economics, Finance and Actuarial Sciences at University of Bologna.

His major research and consulting interests are in the area of operational research and management science. In particular, he works on exact and heuristic solution methods and algorithms based on mathematical programming and combinatorial optimization approaches. The proposed algorithms can be integrated into software solutions for decision support and prescriptive analytics, one of the areas of Artificial Intelligence.
