Maita Bonazzi

Adjunct professor at the University of Bologna since 2022, with a degree in Primary Education Sciences, she has focused her studies and practice on Mathematics Education. Her research and teaching interests focus particularly on mathematical problems and laboratory teaching within the context of special needs education.

For the University's Degree Course in Primary Education Sciences, she worked as Coordinating Tutor until 2021, and then became Organizing Tutor from September 2025.

From 2017 to 2020 she was the author of the mathematics teaching section for the first and second year of the Primary school in the magazine "Nuovo Gulliver News", published by Edizioni Didattiche Gulliver Srl.
Since 2018 she has been collaborating with Pearson publishing house (now Sanoma) in redacting articles, sections and textbooks related to the mathematics teaching; such writings are adopted by teachers in service in the Primary schools.
For several years she has also been involved in initial and ongoing training of school staff, with particular attention to the teachers in the first cycle of education.
