She is a PhD candidate (M-PEAD/01) at the Department of Education Studies “G. M. Bertin” of the University of Bologna and a subject expert in General and Social Pedagogy and Intercultural Pedagogy. Her research focuses on youth participation, active citizenship, and processes involved in the construction of a sense of belonging.
She is a member of the Research Team of the Erasmus+ KA2 PRISCILA project, which focuses on the development of personal, intercultural, social, and citizenship competences for lifelong learning and the empowerment of adult migrants. She also takes part in the internal research project Does school bring people together or separate them?, led by Professor Morena Cuconato, which explores processes of othering and belonging in secondary schools and their educational implications.
She is a Junior Member of SIPed – the Italian Society of Pedagogy.
