Brief Profile

PhD candidate in Educational Sciences, funded by a scholarship, at the Department of Education “Giovanni Maria Bertin”, University of Bologna. Scientific-disciplinary sector: M-PEAD/01 General and Social Pedagogy.

Education

  • In 2019, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social and Cultural Education (ESC) at the University of Bologna, with a final project in General Psychology titled: “Autobiographical Memory and the Concept of Self” (110/110).

  • In 2021, she obtained a Master’s Degree in Pedagogy at the University of Bologna, with a thesis in General and Social Pedagogy titled: “Adolescence and Covid-19” (110/110 cum laude).

  • In 2024, she completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pedagogy at the Istituto Superiore Formazione Aggiornamento e Ricerca – Formazione Post-Universitaria delle Professioni, with a final project titled: “It’s Time to (Re)Discover Oneself: Identity and the Body in a Theoretical Reflection Highlighting the Driving Role of Clinical Pedagogy” (100/100)

Research and Teaching Support Activities

Since the 2023/2024 academic year, she has provided teaching support for the following courses at the University of Bologna (Professor in charge: Prof.ssa Morena Cuconato):

  • Intercultural Pedagogy – Bachelor’s Degree in Languages and Foreign Literatures

  • Pedagogy and Intercultural Communication – Master’s Degree in Teaching and Communication of Natural Sciences (no longer active as of the 2025/2026 academic year)

  • General Pedagogy – Bachelor’s Degree in Motor and Sports Sciences

  • Intercultural Pedagogy – Master’s Degree in Sports Science and Techniques

She has participated in the ErasmusPlus KA2 PRISCILA project: Fostering Personal, Intercultural, Social and Citizenship Competences for Lifelong Learning to Empower Migrant Adult Learners.

She has also contributed to the INTE-great project: Stakeholder Partnership for the Integration of Migrants, within the European AMIF 2020 programme.

Additionally, she has been involved in the departmental research project Does school bring people together or separate them?, focusing on othering in secondary education.

Professional Experience

From 2018 to 2023, she worked as an Educator at the social cooperative, in Bologna and the surrounding area. She was involved in school-based and community-based services for adolescents and young adults.
