Curriculum vitae

Luigi Contadini is Associate Professor of Spanish Literature (L-LIN/05), Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures Modern (since 2014). Previously Researcher (Ricercatore Confermato) of Spanish Literature (L-LIN/05) in the same Department (since 2004).

He obtained the National Scientific Habilitation (ASN) in 2020 as a full professor.

He teaches Spanish Literature and History of Spanish Culture, focusing in particular on modern and contemporary times. His research develops around three main areas: phenomenological representations of the experience in contemporary Spanish fiction; trauma, memory and postmemory: writings, rewritings and images of the Civil War and Francoism; Spanish 18th century literature: memoirs, epic poetry, utopian fiction and theatre. In recent years, with the WeTell group, he has deepened the field of storytelling and innovative didactics.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Post-doctorate: Research Grant (Assegno di Ricerca), from 1/11/2001 to 31/10/2003, at the Department of Anglo-American and Iberoamerican Studies of the University of Venice.

- PhD in Iberian Studies at the University of Bologna, 7/3/2000 (duration: 4 years). Specialization in Spanish Language and Literature.

- Degree in Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures (Spanish Language and Literature), University of Urbino on 9/12/1992.
