Ludovica Neri

Short Bio

Ludovica Neri is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Theoretical Philosophy at the University of Bologna. She earned her PhD through a joint doctoral programme between the University of Bologna and Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Her research focuses on Classical German Philosophy, with particular attention to the later Schelling, the intersections of philosophy of nature, metaphysics, and phenomenology, and their relevance to contemporary philosophical debates. She is a member of the editorial board of «Discipline Filosofiche». She has published numerous essays in international journals and edited volumes and has taught and conducted seminars in Italy and abroad. In 2026, she received a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Seal of Excellence for a project on Schelling’s philosophy of nature and the first prize for the best doctoral dissertation in the Philosophy, Science, Cognition, and Semiotics doctoral programme at the University of Bologna.
