Ludovica Neri is a postdoctoral research fellow in Theoretical Philosophy, currently working on a project titled The Philosophy of Nature of the Late Schelling: Theoretical and Epistemological Issues (supervisor: Prof. Luca Guidetti).
In 2024, she obtained a Ph.D. in Theoretical Philosophy from the University of Bologna in co-tutelle agreement with Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich (supervisors: Prof. Luca Guidetti and Prof. Thomas Buchheim).
She previously completed a Master’s Degree in Philosophical Sciences at the University of Bologna (2018), a Master’s in Philosophie at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (2018), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy at the University of Bologna (2015).
Her research focuses on modern and contemporary German philosophy, with particular attention to German Idealism—especially the thought of the late Schelling and its relation to Kant.
Additionally, her work explores the connections between the post-Kantian idealist tradition and contemporary debates in feminist and gender theory, as well as feminist ecology.
