Luca Raimondi was born in bologna on 17/03/1980. He graduated in mechanical engineering on 07/10/2016 discussing with Prof. Zucchelli a degree thesis entitled" Study of a structural joint for the retrofitting of electric vehicles ".
Since December 2016 is a Research Fellow of CIRI MAM.
Research topics
He is currently engaged in industrial research for the design and structural integration of components in electric vehicles, design of light alloy components and composite materials in collaboration with "onda solare" project
Professional experiences
From 1999 to 2013 he has worked as a calculator, designer, project manager, project manager on over 20 automotive commissions in collaboration with leading automotive companies worldwide, with particular reference to Germany, China, India and Iran. It has also been involved in the transfer of technologies in the nautical sector and in industrialization of the product.
2008-2013 Consultant at Mahindra Engneering Services LTD / Engines Engineering. Responsible for technical coordination of car and nautical projects for over € 10 million in Europe and emerging markets
1999-2006 Trainee and later planner, analyst, support for project manager at IEG Group. During this period he collaborated for
• Design, development and industrialization of 2 complete cars in Iran and China (see "Raimondi" car built for Nanjing-Changan and manufactured in China, and SAIPA TIBA).
• Engine integration for a Daihatsu Terios derivation SUV with relevant laboratory and track experimental validations. • Development of light alloy frame frames.
• Design and development of scooters and motorcycles for Korean, Chinese, Malay and Indian markets in conjunction with Engines Engineering SPA
• Industrialization of an airport seat for Poltrona Frau SpA
• Development of door hinges, capotes for Fiat Group, Ferrari, Iveco, Bertone in collaboration with Edscha
• Consultancy for supply and design of sealing rings for Ferrari, Bertone, Opel in collaboration with Meteor
