Luca Gasperini

Research Director at CNR's Institute of Marine Science (ISMAR-CNR) and a Adjunct Professor at UniBo conducts his research in Marine Geology/Geophysics. Research interests are addressed in particular to: geophysical methods, structural geology, seismic stratigraphy, geodynamic reconstruction, underwater paleoseismology, extraterrestrial impacts. Coordinates national and international research projects and collaborates with several institutes in Italy and abroad. He has taken part and/or organized numerous oceanographic expeditions, in the Mediterranean and in the Atlantic, Pacific and Sub-Arctic oceans. He is author of numerous publications in international journals, including Nature, Journal of Geophysical Research, Earth and Planetary Science Letters. Go to the Curriculum vitae
