Short Bio

Loris Vergolini (PhD in Sociology and Social Research, University of Trento) is an Associate Professor at the University of Bologna from 2024 and was previously a researcher, also at Bologna, from 2021 to 2024 and at Irvapp (the Bruno Kessler Foundation's Institute for Evaluative Research on Public Policies) from 2009 to 2021. He conducts research in the field of policy evaluation, with a focus on policies to widen participation in higher education. His research interests include the study of educational inequalities, social cohesion and the cultural aspects of ageing. Go to the Curriculum vitae
