I am a third-year PhD student in Computer Science and Engineering, part of the Mobile Middleware Research Group at the University of Bologna, Italy. My supervisor is Prof. Antonio Corradi. I am interested in cloud and edge computing platforms for dependable distributed industrial applications.
Previously, I received a MSc in Computer Engineering from the same university. To prepare my thesis, I have been a visiting scholar at Cornell University (USA) under the supervision of Prof. Ken Birman. My project was on the optimization of the Derecho library, which uses RDMA for fast State Machine Replication, and its adaptation to extend the consistency guarantees of the industrial protocol OMG DDS.
