Lorenzo Pregliasco (Turin, 1987) is a political analyst, journalist, and lecturer. He studied Classics at Liceo “Vincenzo Gioberti” and earned his degree from the University of Turin with a thesis on cognitive linguistics and political metaphors in Barack Obama’s language.
He is co-founder and partner of the political research and communication agency Quorum and serves as director of the data journalism magazine YouTrend.
A contributor to L’Espresso, La Repubblica, La Stampa, POLITICO Europe, and Aspenia, his analysis on politics, public opinion, political communication and elections regularly appears on Sky TG24, La7, Rai News, and international outlets such as Bloomberg, Financial Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
He is a member of the European Society for Opinion and Marketing Research (ESOMAR) and teaches at the University of Bologna, in addition to guest lecturing at institutions including the Universities of Pavia and Padua, 24Ore Business School, and Scuola Holden.
He is the author of several podcasts, including La democrazia in America (2020), Elezione straordinaria (2022), Flipper (2022–23), and Qui si fa l’Italia (2021–ongoing). His recent books include Benedetti sondaggi. Leggere i dati, capire il presente (ADD, 2022) and Il paese che siamo. L’Italia dalla Prima Repubblica alla politica on demand (Mondadori, 2023).
