Lorenzo Agostini

Lorenzo Agostini received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, in 2013 and 2015, respectively. He received his Ph.D. in Emerging Digital Technologies from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna di Pisa, Italy, in 2020. After his doctoral studies till today, he joined the University of Bologna, Italy, in the role of post-doc researcher, where in 2022, he founded the transfer technology project spin-off enterprise AdapTronics. His research interests involve innovative mechatronic systems, such as electrostatic transducers, capacitive sensing, and continuum/soft robots.
