Lidia Bonifati is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Baffi Centre on Economics, Finance and Regulation of Bocconi University, as well as a Teaching Assistant of Comparative Constitutional Law at the Department of Legal Studies of the University of Bologna.
Dr. Bonifati holds a joint Ph.D. in Legal Studies from the University of Bologna and the University of Antwerp. She held visiting positions at the School of Law of the Queen’s University of Belfast, at the Department of Law of the European University Institute, at the EURAC Institute for Comparative Federalism, and at the Oxford Internet Institute of the University of Oxford.
Her research interests include constitutional design for divided societies, minority rights, federalism and asymmetries in comparative constitutional law, and comparative research methodologies. Within the PRIN project "Decision-Making in the Age of Emergencies", dr. Bonifati explores the use of advanced technologies in emergencies, specifically during armed conflicts and humanitarian missions.
