Prof. Palladino has been a High School Physical Education teacher since 1983, Professor at ISEF (Superior Institute of Physical Education), Bologna, since 1997 and at Exercise and Sport Science Faculty, currently known as School of Pharmacy, Biotechnology and Exercise Science, since 2003 in Bologna and since 2010 in Rimini.

He is Professor at Superintendency of Studies, Bologna (Provveditorato agli Studi di Bologna), with the function of holding refreshing courses for fellow Professors and teachers.

He is a National Lecturer for FIPAV (Italian Volleyball Federation) for mini-volley and for coaches training courses.

Prof. Palladino has been a volleyball coach since 1976 and at national level since 1980. He coached the A/2 category S. Lazzaro female team, Bologna, in 1981/82, and the A/1 category Zinella male team, Bologna, in 1990/91.

He is an expert of coaching dynamics in youth sector and he was Technical Director of CUS Bologna from 1984 to 1990 and of Zinella club from 1993 to 2000.

Back to the female sector, he was Technical Director and main coach of Idea Volley Bologna from 2000, both in B category and in Junior Championship, where the highest achievement was the U14 Italian vice championship title in 2008.

He was Technical Director and main coach of SWAY and Zinella club, Bologna, in B/2 category in 2013.

In 2015/16, he was Technical Director of a consortium of clubs collaborating on the territory of Bologna (amongst which Masi and Atletico), including Vip S. Lazzaro in B/1 category.

He won four Italian Championship titles with the University teams of CUS Bologna, in 2016 and 2017 with the male team and in 2017 and 2018 with the female team. With the male team, he also achieved 5th place at University European Championship of Poland, 2017, and 4th place at University European Championship of Portugal, 2018. With the female team, he won the University European Championship title in 2019 and 2022 in Lodz, Poland and in 2023 in Braga.
